how can i make my packet 8 accept incomming calls only from certain extensions or numbers and not others? i have a packet 8 (phone system: Packet 8 ST2118) and a modem thats connected to the network.
I have aa Avaya digital system and want to use a Packet 8 phone, will the phone work on a digitl line? I have a Polycom but it only work on an analog line. The little konnect box to make it digital just wont work clearly.
Help! packet 8 voip/ time Warner Internet/ linksys router... At wits end? I have been on the phone with tech support since thursday with ither time warner, linksys or packet 8 support. I am so frustrated and at my wits end. This issue is that my voip phone ( packet 8) has static . So far I have had the router ( wrt546 V8 wireless router 1X1) programed ,, quality turned up, port forwarding . Still issues. I called time warner and got the highest speed availble, since doing that I lose my internet a couple times a day. .... the phone when it is working is a little better sice doing that. The phone has been reprogramed a million times. The phone is no where near the power source and the packet 8 modum is not near the phone. The phone people tell me that it is loseing packets time warner says nope signal is strong and that is nonsence. I made sure that my internet was not on a splitter and that the cord that goes from the wall to the modum is less then 6 feet. I have tried everything and everyone gives me a diffrent answer. Please help!

How can I stop my 8 mo. Golden Retriever from growling and curling his nose aggressively while eating? Recently our Golden has become aggressive while eating. It was my intention to be able to have a family dog and never worry about his behavior. While watching him eat, he was rapidly devouring his puppy chow and to slow him down I have been making him sit and stay before eating it all. When I pet him to make him stop and command sit, he low growls and then will curl his nose a bit. I do not want an aggressive dog and want to make sure he knows that eating is no excuse for this behavior. I have him learning new commands like sit, stay, lay, etc...and he will come and walk off a leash for me, but it seems this is a problem I can not quite conquer. I called a vet and they said they'd give me a packet of info which is nice, but has anyone had a similar experience? If so please let me know what you chose to do. I'm wondering if he's being fed enough food, almost 4 cups (8 mo old 75 lbs) of a high quality food.
Wireless Network Connection Status shows 0 packets sent and 8,000 received, why? I recently installed a Belkin Wireless USB Network Adapter (F5D7050)to my desktop. For some reason sent packets shows 0 and received shows a steady increase, is this a problem? Also, the wireless connection is fine except for the fact that sometimes when I'm downloading files it stops midway. My dsl internet speed is 700kb/s, maybe that could be the reason. I also have another computer connected directly to the router and it functions normally with sent and received packets increasing steadily. I hope someone can help, thanks.

My 18 year old girlfriend smokes at least 8-10 packets of cigarettes per day. Help. :(? am i pregnant after stopping the pill, had withdrawal bleed on 8 december and not had period yet? I am trying to get pregnant. Yahoo messenger 8 installed a security update and now I cannot connect to the internet. How do I undo it? desktop pc running win2k with wire connection to my linksys router. ISP is verizon FIOS. Question about daily 8 glasses of water.? I can't STAND drinking water by itself ( I know, it's silly. Just try to bear with me). So I usually make it a light lemonade with low calorie sweetener or add crystal light packets or at LEAST a few drops of lemon. Does sweetened water count in my daily 8 glasses? Help! Is it too late to plant my seeds? I live in an apt so I don't have a garden so yesterday I bought a rectangular planter thing to hang off my balcony. I bought a bunch of seed packets - sweet basil, chives, lemon palm, sage, and cherry tomatoes. The planter is about two feet long and 1/2 foot wide. Can I plant all these into one planter. What are the differences between lh and hcg tests? I know what lh and hcg are. My Dr.( I no onger see) gave me a packet of lh tests and said use them for pregnancy tests. 8 Cups Of Water? I've always heard that you should drink 8 cups of water a day, because it's healthy, etc. etc., but I've never known why. To keep you hydrated, I know, but what are the other reasons? A lot of people who are asking about losing weight quickly get told to drink plenty of water and I want to know what water has to do with losing weight? 8 glasses of water per day..can I add flavor? I know you're supposed to drink 8 glasses of water per day, but water is just way too plain tasting and I get tired of it after 1 glass. If I put a very small amount of crystal light in a glass and do that for all 8 glasses per day, does that still count as water? I don't use a full packet of crystal light. Would the first prenatal visit be only at 8 weeks? I moved to Boston recently so i dont have a primary care physician. I called a OBGYN's office to setup an appointment and they said the first visit will usually be with a Nurse practitioner. And, that they will only see me at 8 weeks. I asked them whether the pregnancy shouldn't be confirmed by a blood test... but they said as long as HPT showed a dark positive it should be fine... They said that they will send me a packet containing prescriptions for prenatal vitamins and a packet containing information about Do's and Don'ts for the first trimester...I was expecting that they would call me in for a blood test and initial check up... She said it was only necessary if i had any problems before... is this normal or should I choose a different doctor?

I dont understand how someone could think im trying to get answers to my homework. infact, those were questions to some homework, but unlike some i do my work. i want to see if anyone else really knows the answers. i enjoy to see if i can quiz people. i aint no dumb fuck, so next person who wants to accuse me of trying to cheat can actually meet me and then we can decide how much of a cheater i am.

My wife and the love of my life past away last year in a car accident. You might find this weird but I am a marketing director with big thick wage packets (I don’t know how I have had 8 kids but I do know how I became a marketing director). My wife wanted a big family so she kept popping out each year without thinking of any consequences and I just gave her it each time. Do you think I was taken advantage off? Now I am left with 8 little disasters & a nanny who rips me off for £600 a week but that is fine; I have no time on my hands and no social life as I am always on the run for promotional ads. Where do you think I will be in the next 10 years and also do I sound like a great catch; if a brought a woman home to my 8 kids “Do you think she will run for the door”. After all “I am 25 with 8 kids now you rarely ever see that ;o)”.
8 glasses of water every day...? When people say you need to drink 8 glasses of water a day to keep your skin hydrated, (and this question might sound really dumb but I'm not sure!), does that mean just water? I mean, does it include any flavored waters like Propel or the little Crystal Light packets you pour into water, or does it mean JUST water?
Have you had an Internet phone company NIGHTMARE ? I just got packet 8 in July and was quiet happy by the domestic and international calls until first week of August we had severe storms and due to lightning my cable modem and the packet 8 Amplifier connected to it got fried. I called the cable and within 2 days they had a guy come to my home to replace a new modem without even charging me. Well the packet8 story is different, first I called...callled..and called and you can never get through someone to pick up in the phone..just a run around.. so I tried login to my packet pathetic account and made a case..well sttill no response..I guess the company kind of expecting a way for customers to went their frustration..... There are no responses still to my emails.......... last wednesday I finaly got a hold of a guy in technical service , boy that was a nightmare...he asked me 1000 questions as if I was being intorigated as a suspect for a crime or something. Finaly he said he will mail me a new one..well Iam still waiting..

Helllloooo!!! Bottles won't fit in typewriter!!! March - Got really excited! Finished jigsaw puzzle in 6 months ... box said "2-4 years!" April - Trapped on escalator for hours ... power went out!! May - Tried to make Kool-Aid ... wrong instructions on packet ... 8 cups of water won't fit into those little packets!! June - Tried to go water skiing ... Bummer ... couldn't find a lake with a slope. July - Lost breast stroke swimming competition ... learned later, the other swimmers cheated, they used their arms! August - Got locked out of my car in rain storm ... car swamped because soft-top was open. September - The capital of California is "C".....isn't it?? Is there any other VOIP service that allows you to use your existing phones in your house like Charter does? I am currently on Charter Digital Telephone (VOIP) and they issued me a Arris Touchstone Modem which allows me to use all of my existing telephone wiring and phones. Problem is though Charters' telephone service stopped working. I am in the 30 day trail period and was thinking of canceling and just opting to use either Vonage, Packet 8, ATT Callvantage, Verizon's VOIP service, or some other VOIP service but I was wondering which one allows you to use your existing house phones without doing any modding to the house phone wiring just simply plugging a telephone wire into any telephone jack like Charters touchstone modem allows you to. Anyone know of a VOIP service that allows you to use your exisiting house telephones?
Should I wait !! and save a packet !!? I live in a city where the dental charges are VERY expensive. I recently lisited my Girlfriend Country where prices are 1/3 of what i would pay here.... Now I have an appointment for 8 visits in her country as I need root canel / crown + bridge work. Its 10 weeks away though. (Only time I can go !! ) I have an crown that the cement failed on it I was recently there where the dentist give me antibotics to combat any infection that may occur while waiting to come back. An infection started an i'm now taking the antibotics. Which hopefully will fend off the infection for now. Stuff can be seen leak out from between the crown and gum line if i was to press down on it ( probably infection fluid ) .. tooth sore in mornings and late at night now... I just started the antibotics yesterday and I could get more if needed... 10 weeks seems a long way off and wondering if its dangerous to hold on that long.... will the antibotics work until then ??

Can my 8 month old have mince meat? I have been keen to cook my own food for my baby rather than packet /tins,however im not sure what he can and cant have, im aware of the obvious things such as nuts,honey,etc,but not so sure about meats,i know he can have chicken but i want to add some red meat to his diet if i can,does anyone know if mince meat is ok?cant find anything on the net.thanks

ORA-12571: TNS Write Packet Failure on WinXP SP2. I have tried spyware and adware remover. last worked 2/06.? I have Windows Defender (i think that's what broke it) and McAfee. Issue is I cannot connect via sqlplus 8.0 or any tools using it (Oracle ADI). I can connect via SQL 9 and 10 (from my other Oracle homes). this used to work, but stopped in or about 2/06 with either a McAfee update or windows update. all programs are allowed to speak to the internet on all firewall programs on PC. I have tried all LSP fixes, winsock fixes, changed the sqlnet.ora file, etc. I CAN TNSPING all homes, but cannt connect through sqlnet.
