Cheapest VOIP to India? Currently tpad.com is offering 0.065$ to India. They even allow Break-in calls using which even from India anybody can call us by calling a Mumbai number and then followed by our tpad account number. No need of a computer for this. Is there any other cheapest VOIP providers available? Don't need betamax clones, they are real cheaters. Lost so much Euros and they don't have customer service at all.
How is the call quality of VoIP? What are the best providers? I am thinking about switching from Cox to a VoIP provider. I have had Vonage and Sunrocket. I loved Vonage, but then I heard about Sunrocket and it was cheaper, so I switched. Sunrocket was horrible, so I switched back to Vonage and it was really bad. I switched back to Cox and that is what I have right now. I am thinking about AT&T Callvantage, but they don't have an agreement to transfer numbers from Cox. Would it be worth it for me to transfer my number from Cox to Verizon and then to Callvantage or should I find another VoIP provider? If you think I should find another provider which one should I switch to? I live in Rhode Island.
Questions about VOIP Providers, Service, Quality, & Tech Questions? I'm considering changing my regular home phone service (phone co.) to Cable Telephone (Comcast) or possibly a VoiP service like Skype or Sunrocket. Comcast says a big advantage of their service is the battery backup which keeps the service available for 8 hours if power goes out. Otherwise I think it's just the same as having the regular phone service - no special phones, all extentions work, etc. Skype & Sunrocket are a LOT cheaper, but are they better? Worse? Some questions about VOIP services before I take the plunge: With VoiP will I totally lose phone service if my power or my internet connection goes out? Even though we have cable internet, sometimes it is really, really slow. How would that affect a VoiP phone service like Skype? I'm sure you'd lose service if power fails, or if your computer or modem craps out. Has this been a problem for you? Do all your existing extentions work? Is sound quality great? Other advantges or disadvantages? THANKS!!

VOIP one BT line multiple people calling out? Hello, I have a client who is looking to setup a quick and cheap call centre, roughly ten staff, all calling out. A good, reliable VOIP provider in Alberta, Canada? We are so fed-up with Telus that we look into a new phone provider. Unfortunately neither Shaw nor Rogers home phone are available in our rural area...yet! Who would recommend a good VOIP provider. We do not care about pricing but rather features and especially sound and call quality!! We'd like to use a provider where the calling experience is similar to a landline/ digital phone, with the least external noise and dropped calls or echo. Again, we don't care about the cheapest deal but the most reliable one. Who has experience with the Rogers Internet Phone Service?? Thanks! I probably should have mentioned that I DO have Shaw high speed internet. Internet and TV is provided by shaw, but not phone services. So I am looking for VoIP only
Freecall VOIP - Feedback? Has anybody used VoIP services from Freecall. If yes, would you suggest using to make calls to India from the Netherlands. Is there any other VoIP service provider who offers much cheaper rates than Freecall?

VOIP advice - small business, central London - what are my options? Starting a small business, central London location. We make minimal calls using a fixed landline as we use mobiles most of the time. We have no fixed/BT landline but we have wi-fi broadband. We wish to have a 'normal' landline number to give out to clients. I have heard the names Skype/Vyke & sipgate being used. How can i get a 020 7 number? Can you recommend any particular providers? What is the cheapest option?
Cheap calls to Nicaragua? Where can I find an affordable phone out provider to call Nicaragua. I have tryied Yahoo phone out, Skype, Voip Cheap, but the rates to Nicaragua are very high. Can you help me find a good cheap provider?

Best broadband and VOIP combination in Sydney Australia? I need a broadband connection in Sydney, Australia that I can use for VOIP. The broadband connection will be for a home internet connection for my family, myself mother and brother, but we need to save money on phone bills. I do need a fixed incoming call number. The internet connection itself will not be used for too much but it would be nice to have a bit to play with for downloading music, theatrical trailers etc, and still be able to make cheap phone calls all month. If we exceed some data limit with our internet will this effect our ability to make phone calls on the connection? It would be convenient but not essential to have 1 bill, two separate providers is fine as I am most concerned with getting the cheapest deal and the most reliable outcome. I am not very technologically or business smart and any suggestions would be much appreciated. Cheers.
VoIP? Efax? Im trying to convert my landlines at work to broad band phone providers as well as my fax. My top choices for VOIP is: 1. Sun Rocket because there is no cancellation fees and NO CONTRACTS. (i am a contract fearing person) 2. Vonage (just because its the top company in this field) 3. Verizon (they have a dsl + VoIP service) As for EFAX: 1. EFAX.COM (Price is high, but again, its the top company in this field of email faxing) 2. MyFAX.COM (Cheap and they claim to be the next behind efax.com) Does anyone have good or bad experiences with relying on your computer for phone and fax? is a plus or a negative to your business? any recommendations? Thank you.
What should I do about VONAGE? Due to recent legal actions against VONAGE i am a little concerned. I am wondering if I should jump ship before VONAGE sinks or hold off because it wont sink? We have 2 line on vonage. 1 for the house and 1 for the wifes job. Vonage is alot cheaper then the regular phone so we dumped our regular phone company. $35 a month for everything is a good price. But if Vonage is abou to go dummy up we need another provider that: has VOip is a land line. the wife works for a major company as a reservation person. not sure what to do but from what i understand from the net is VONAGE is about to sink. SO what do i do?

I used to make calls from my cell phone provider (verizon) they charged me 9 cents but they suddenly increased it to 24 cents on July 24 2007. I was kind of taking advantage because i know calling to Mexico cell phone is very expensive and other cell phone companies were charging 24 cents since November 2006. Now i need to find a way to call cheaper than 24 cents. Does anyone know any phone card, VOIP plans? i'm only interested in calls to mexico cell phones not landlines
Recommendation of a good & cheap wireless broadband in Bangalore? I am a NRI, I would like to set up wireless broadband internet for my family in Bangalore. I heard Data cards are not that good. Basically we require Chat, Voip, some mails checking. Can you please recommend a good service provider and a right plan if possible? Thanks in advance
Do you need phone service for DSL? I know this has been asked before, but I have some additional information that may need to have some answers justified. First of all, I am wondering if I can cancel my phone service and use the AT&T DSL (same provider for phone and Internet) without the phone service? I do not trust with the company says because I believe they are just trying to keep me a customer and get my money for services I hardly use. I want to cancel my phone service and get VOIP instead, since it's pratically cheaper that the phone service regularly. BTW, currently, we have an unpaid account and it's disconnected with the typical busy signal on the line and my DSL service still works, nevertheless. All I can hope if I do cancel it is that they don't come down here and completely disconnect the line from the system.. :/ Thanks! This system is located in Southwest Louisiana. Phone company is AT&T, which currently owns the line.

what is cheapest USA mobile plan/prepaid that supports voip? I'd like to use voip on my cell phone. This will need a 3G service such as Verizon's EVDO or Sprint's CDMA2000. How much are the plan options given than I don't want to use the call minutes, just the broadband? Are there any prepaid data plans? Will I have to commit for 2 yrs, even if I bring my own phone? I've tried researching this on providers' sites, but there are so many plans and so much hype ... and so little info! I can't be the only one thinking about doing this. Thanks!
Is there a service provider that offers cable through broadband? I currently pay for Cablevisions IO triple play package. It costs 29.95\month for all three services (cable, internet, and phone). My setup is a 42" LCD TV with surround sound hooked up directly to my computer with an RGB cable. My cable comes through the regular cable input. So it's easy for me to watch streamed content from places like hulu, youtube, and such without needing any extra pc card or splitters. What I want to do is cut costs of my services. I can buy broadband from another carrier (AT&T costs 19.99\month) buy a Magic Jack for my phone (39 and change\year). Is there a cable company that streams channels over broadband like the companies that use voip over the phone (magicjack/vonage)? I'm not looking for anything for free, just cheaper with no equipment to buy with a good range of channels. Does anyone know of such a service? Thanks in advance.
Experience with VoIP provider nonoh.net? Has anyone here had experience with the VoIP provider www.nonoh.net. They offer cheaper rates than jajah.com and once you buy credit they offer 120 days of free calls to selected destinations, which are limited to 200 minutes per week. What was your experience with the service?
