VOIP Phone Service: Best Provider?
I was a Sunrocket subscriber. Now that they're out of business I'd like to find another provider of VOIP service. Any suggestions? I certainly don't want a company that's going to drop their customers like Sunrocket did. I understand Teleblend is owned by the former Sunrocket company so I definitely don't want them.

- IF your in a charter area, check them out. $29.99/mo for a year in most places.
- I have Packet8 for over 3 years, and they are in the VoIP business for 20 years....the own there own VoIP patent, not rented like vonage and the rest...that's why I had sign up with them!!! you can read about all the VoIP provider on dslreports.com and cnet.com look at the forum....I write for them daily reports about VoIP... http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,12133051~mode=flat http://www.cnet.com/4244-5_1-0.html?query=voip+forum&tag=srch&target=nw look at all my previous posts or email me...
- I use Rocket VOIP, they have one feature which allow you to make international call from your cell phone free (if you have a plan with unlimited international call). I think their regular plan starts at 19.99 for unlimited local and LD. I have had good services for the last 3 years. www.rocketvoip.com is the address, you should check it out.
- If you've done your research you should have found a number of VOIP comparison sites. They all seem to suggest a different provider as their top pick. I found this site useful www.consumercompare.org. I chose Vonage as my new provider and called the 800 number from this site. I got 2 months free and free activation and free equipment. Great site with useful information.
