Public Comments
- Skype is the cheapest, hands down.
- MagicJack!! http://www.magicjack.com/site/index.html MagicJack is completely reliable. I have had a magicJack since May and have had zero problems, it just works. In addition I have used Skype since 2003 and guess what, no problems, it just works. Most of the complainers are simply that, complainers, either that or they are technological idiots and thus are beyond hope. MagicJack can also be used with an ATA if you know what you are doing however I prefer to simply use it as a plug in device. In March, it is my understanding that magicJack will officially be allowing byod. Frankly, magicJack is such a perfect service at $20 PER YEAR that is simply silly not to use it. How Vonage, ViaTalk, Packet8 et al. plan to survive against magicJack is really a mystery. But hey, to each his own. It is going to be fun watching people discover magicJack in 2008. In a year everyone will know of this product.
