Vonage phone system and web access problem. Anyone know how to fix it?
I recently installed vonage d link vwr on my pc. It was a gift from family in the usa. I wired it up in the way specified in the booklet. The phone worked perfectly, but when I tried the internet I could not get access. I tried typing cmd in run and typed reconfig in the dialog box, but when I clicked ok, the next line read c\documents and settings and it made no difference. My son in law said it was probably that I have a setting wrong and the vonage ip address is not being recognised. My operating system is xp run thru a cable modem. Do any of you brainiacs have any suggestions how to fix this??

- is the computer plugged into the vonage router? if you have another router you can plug the pc in one then the vonage in the other. i use vonage and have no problems
