Voip Comparison

I got Vonage six months ago and now I want to switch to another provider?

not that i was experiencing any problems, but i like the international plans of the new provider. will vonage allow me to keep my current number with the new provider or they will not transfer it?

  1. that is the problem with most VoIP providers!! after you cancel their service, no one cares about the customer any more!!! number portability is the law for land-line phone and cell-phones now....yes cell-phones, but not VoIP number yet!! you might have to wait a long time, but if you're lucky they will do it quick....I had to wait 4 month.....! in the mean time you will get a temporary number.... the VoIP provider had told me before that they will not port my number if I leave them.... you can call them and ask, but remember they lie alot.....and that if you can even understand there English!!! thanks, man under me....that what I got, Packet8 and I'm very happy...I did not wanna say the providers name otherwise I would've got a violation again....
  2. i recommend packet8 voip service as it is ranked number one in quality. also here is a site for voip coupons: http://www.depotdiscounts.com
  3. it is possible, but it is really hard.
  4. It is probably more about how cooperative Vonage will be in letting you go. In the USA, I believe it is now Law that LNP (Local Number Portability) must be facilitated by All phone and VoIP service providers.
