What Voip provider offers cheapest rates to German mobiles?
I am living in Ireland and my girlfriend is living and studying in Germany, She has no access to a landline as no public phones receive calls over there, so must ring her mobile,I currently use nonoh to ring her for 8cent a min, is there a cheaper or maybe even a free way to make these calls?

- skype is still the cheapest, unless you both wanna get a MagicJack! you both need a computer with high-speed Internet...and a MJ...then the calling is totally free! remember, the German government poses a high tariff on cell-phones...how about a calling card! so many of your (USA) VoIP services don't work in Europe....but skype does!! yahoo voice has very good rates....including cellphone ! I also use onesuite.com while in Europe...! its real hard to find just the right solution for you...but I think MJ is just what might do it...you will need and d and your GF so you both can talk for free!!
- If you are truly getting 8 cent/min with nonoh, then I don't think you will find any service cheaper than that to mobiles in Germany. Calling mobiles is by far the most expensive way to call these days... Here are the best rates I can find using VoIP to Germany Mobiles: ($US) EarthCaller (beta) - 11.3 nonoh - 10.9 (12.9 incl. VAT) cents CallCentric - 19.8 cents InPhonex - 16.7 - 27 cents Efonica - 21 cents Hotfoon - 20 - 23 cents Yahoo Voice - 22.3 cents Skype is 24.4 cents/min Gizmo Project - 24 cents Mediaring Talk - 24.6 cents If she has access to Internet, then "PC-PC" using "In-Network" calling is always "Free" between like account holders. Here are VoIP companies that offer Free In-Network calling between account holders: CallCentric InPhonex GoogleTalk Skype Gizmo Project Yahoo Voice Efonica Mediaring Talk With these services, there is nothing to buy up-front to do free In-Network calling..... PC-PC is always free....
- I believe with Skype you can buy a German phone number making it a local call !!!!!!!!
